LANEWAY CHURCH FOOTSCRAY

 Laneway Church want to see an endless crowd of people from all nations worshipping Christ as King. 

In Luke 14 Jesus tells the story of a servant sent by his master to go down every road and laneway with an invitation to come to an amazing banquet. Jesus did this, calling for all people to accept his invitation and turn to God and join the feast. Their story is simply to keep on following him down every road and laneway with the same invitation.

With a group of friends, Josh and Sarah spent three years praying for the western suburbs of Melbourne, praying that people would be able to hear the gospel and be saved. Laneway Church is the fruit of these prayers. With the endorsement and encouragement of the Reach Australia, a small team of people moved to Footscray to start a church. Laneway Church launched on 28th August 2016 as part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches with the great desire that people from all nations would come to know Jesus.

 Laneway Church is a local Christian church in Footscray that is all about Jesus. Whether you're new to the area, exploring bigger questions, or anything in between, they would love to help you get to know Jesus through the Bible.

They gather to praise God, hear from God's word, and encourage each other over food and coffee. They also have fun, Bible-centred programs for kids aged 1-12 years old.
